Standing Tall Among the Top 20 Linguistic Solutions Providers in Asia

25 Jun Newsroom

June 25th was marked as the day FBC Global honorably ranked nineteenth in the Top 20 Linguistic Solutions Providers in Asia list for 2014, according to the 2014 Global Linguistic Service Market Report released by Common Sense Advisory (CSA), a world-famous research agency within the linguistic services sector.

According to the Common Sense Advisory, a striking 7 out of these 20 distinguished companies throughout Asia are based in China. As one of the best linguistic solutions providers within Asia, FBC Global has now distinguished itself for its market share and excellence in its service toward customer satisfaction.

“With the shift of the globally political and economic focal point, nobody can deny that Asia is now finally unveiling its booming linguistic service market. Based on a vertical service chain layout as well as owing to its seamless connection with the Euro-American market, FBC Global along with their Asian linguistic solutions providers has managed to capture the market share once ruled by Euro-American LSP.” Ms. Rebecca Ray, chief analyst of CSA said in a recent interview.

Ms. Ray went on to reflect on China’s input: “China is now transforming into a land of promise to linguistic talents from every corner of the world. This affords FBC Global opportunities to grow and optimize its pool of native linguistic specialists and further enhance its competency when serving Euro-American corporate customers in the vast Western market.”

The Common Sense Advisory’s report also sheds light on a few emerging trends. The giant linguistic solutions providers tend to reap higher revenues in the global linguistic service market; the market is undergoing a major reshuffle triggered by endless mergers and acquisitions; the linguistic service dominated by military translation and government-directed procurement is in steady decline; and those seen as being able to work shoulder to shoulder with transnational corporate customers for common prosperity will be more likely to dominate the future.
