A Perfect Close to the 19th Fudan University’s Foreign Language Festival

On the evening of May 31, 2015, all the hustle and bustle of Fudan University’s 19th Foreign Language Festival finally came to a close after one month of brilliant and wonderful games and activities on campus. With “Heart by Heart, Word for World” as its main theme, the foreign language festival this year consisted of three independent modules (“Everybody's Language”, “Speak Like a Scholar”, and “Language Learning Is Fun”), all rooted in language, culture and other important issues, and through these, a platform was made for faculty and students to enjoy well-prepared classic performances and events in an entertaining and educational experience with great importance attached to academic endeavors. 

As one of the primary sponsors of this festival, FBC GLOBAL was honored with an offer to attend the closing ceremony, and at the award ceremony, the company’s senior officer was invited together with other guests to award commendation certificates to the champions of the English speech competition and other three contests. The senior officer also made a speech afterwards to give full recognition to the successful organization and arrangement of this foreign language festival, offering his sincere praise of the enthusiasm, talent and high sense of responsibility demonstrated by the students of Fudan University. In the meantime, he elaborated on the potential opportunities for career development arising from the in-depth cooperation between FBC GLOBAL and the university’s college of foreign languages and literatures. 

In their closing speech, the main leaders of Fudan University’s college of foreign languages and literatures extended their heartfelt appreciation to FBC GLOBAL for its outstanding continuous sponsorship for so many years, and they expressed their expectations on the sustainable expansion of the new frontier of cooperation between university and business entity. Then, to close things out, the curtain drop on the Rye Drama Club’s interpretation of the best English drama of the year, And Then There Were None, conquered everyone present with an incredibly complicated plot, carved unforgettable memories into the all their hearts, and also brought an end to the 19th foreign language festival of Fudan University.
