After the intense competition of the preliminary rounds and the finals, the top three placings have finally been decided. Zhu Xiao Quan (Dean of the Foreign Languages Faculty), Tao You Lan (Assistant Director of the Translation Department) as well as other teachers were present at the prize presentation. Dean Zhu was lavish in praising that “this competition is definitely an inspiration-sparker in English teaching", and indicated that " FUDAN University will improve English teaching henceforth by underlined developing on students' oral interpretation ability, and taking active part in national interpretation competitions." The students believed that "the competition is not only a passion-igniter, but also an eye-opener for English learning." The Deputy CEO of FBC GLOBAL also graced the occasion by presenting the prizes and certificates to the winners. At the same time, he also gave out the permanent scholarships and bursaries, which were set up by FBC GLOBAL, for outstanding students as well as students from needy families.
