Unveiling Ceremony of Science Cube Youth Science and Innovation Education’s School-Enterprise Demonstration Platform
On July 29th 2017, the unveiling ceremony of Science Cube Youth Science and Innovation Education’s School-Enterprise Demonstration Platform was held in Shanghai Zhangjiang Contemporary Art Museum. The People's Government of Zhangjiang Town, Shanghai Municipality, Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park Management Committee, Shanghai Pudong New Area Science and Technology Association, many well-known primary and secondary schools in Pudong, German Institute for Automation and Industrial Technology (IAIT), German Chamber of Commerce (AHK), and many famous Chinese and German companies joined the signing ceremony at the site, as project sponsors and supporters.

Official media including People’s Daily and Xinhua Daily reported on the event immediately, sending a ripple throughout the society and industry. The event was an immediate success favored by the presence of a number of distinguished guests. The following media interviews and Bavarian buffet were carried out in an orderly manner.

FBC GLOBAL was chosen for the planning, preparation and implementation of the event.

As a seasoned service provider for comprehensive localization, FBC GLOBAL has undertaken similar activities and has built up an experienced team.
There were still three major challenges in the services rendered for the ceremony.
Firstly, a tight schedule.
The event was scheduled on July 29th, while the tasks for FBC GLOBAL were not specified until early July. It was a daunting challenge to complete the planning, preparation and implementation of such a big event within half a month.

In response to the challenge, FBC GLOBAL grouped its project team accordingly.

The big task was divided into small ones for different members who then had to work on a stringent schedule.

All the tasks must be completed within the specified deadlines. If necessary, related members had to work overtime, even on holidays. If the deadline could not be met, the whole team would be held accountable. It was with such determination that the project team completed their tasks perfectly as scheduled and delivered satisfactory results.
Secondly, language barriers.
Since the SGI Youth Science and Innovation project was initiated in Germany, most of the documents were written in German and related personnel spoke German. Throughout the process, FBC GLOBAL’s project team had to communicate in German, English and Chinese alternately. There was also a huge demand for translation of documents between the three languages.

Nevertheless, FBC GLOBAL as a service provider for comprehensive localization brought its advantages into full play. Its professional team proficient in the three languages answered the demand for translation and interpreting effectively. With great importance attached to the program, the translation team was made up of the best translators. In this way, the program progressed smoothly.
Thirdly, demanding coordination.
The SGI Youth Science and Innovation Education’s School-Enterprise Demonstration Platform was a program that pooled resources from various parties. It involved governmental departments, professional organizations, industrial associations, enterprises, schools and communities, each with its unique operating mode and procedures.

For better coordination between different parties, FBC GLOBAL’s project team arranged professional staff for communication and tapped into all the resources, thus paving the way for the event.

Now the event has concluded, ending the busy days for the moment. Yet the hard work of FBC GLOBAL’s project team continues. We are looking forward to cooperating with more projects and delivering more excellent results.
